Ray Dearlove Poetry Book

South African born Ray Dearlove, who now lives with his family in Australia, continues to honour his African heritage and love of wildlife through the Australian Rhino Project.

Although living in Australia, Ray and his wife Margaret regularly return to South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania so that their children can experience the wonders of Africa first hand.

In May 2013, Ray founded The Australian Rhino Project which focuses on establishing breeding herds of white and black rhinoceros in Australia as an insurance population for the two species currently facing the threat of extinction.

In partnership with internationally known organisations such as Investec Australia and the Business and Veterinary Schools of the University of Sydney, this project gained serious global momentum – a daunting but extremely important and satisfying venture (and adventure). This Project is ongoing.

Ray has now turned his hand to writing and he recently published the Book of Poems for the Rhino. The CCFA is proud to be the recipient of all proceeds made through the sales of this book.
